Hi Experience Builder Community,

I'm working on an Experience Builder app hosted on Arc GIS Online. The center of this app is a web map with bunch of features in it. Some are set to be invisible in the map itself. These are things that are not yet published. That part works fine. Now what I'd like to do is create an initial map view that's blank, no features selected. So the initial view will simply be the basemap. Once the user uses one of the select tools (rectangle, lasso), I'd like see the selected features show up. Those that are within the area searched. The rationale for this behavior is that once our feature layer is fully populate, the map will look extremely cluttered. So we'd like the user to have blank slate on which to search for things geographically. The question I have is how can I script this kind of behavior in Experience Builder. Preferably, I would like to be able to do this with the out of the box version of Experience Builder on the AGOL. Thanks in advance for all the help and advice.

Hi @AnthonyCastelletto,

Does using "set visible scale for layer" meet the requirements?

Thanks,

Ke
