Automatically Open Map Feature Popup When Selected In List

I have been asked to enhance my ExB app.  I have a List Widget that has a trigger set to perform the 'zoom to' action on the Map Widget.  I don't see an option to set an action to open the pop-up on the map.  Since the pop-up is not a part of ExB, I am wondering: would this be a reasonable enhancement request?  I really don't want to use the Feature Info Widget because I don't want to take up the screen space for that (especially for medium and small screen devices).

Yes, we really, really need a message action to open the webmap's popup.

The Info Summary widget in Web AppBuilder automatically displays the popup, and we need that in ExB also.

The current workaround requires dashboards and EB. You can create a dashboard with your map and utilize the EB list to store the selection in the framework and send that to the embedded dashboard to popup the feature (as long as it is enabled in the dashboard map) with an expression, or you could just embed the dashboard into your experience and control the list and actions that way.
