Automatically Open Map Feature Popup When Selected In List

I have been asked to enhance my ExB app.  I have a List Widget that has a trigger set to perform the 'zoom to' action on the Map Widget.  I don't see an option to set an action to open the pop-up on the map.  Since the pop-up is not a part of ExB, I am wondering: would this be a reasonable enhancement request?  I really don't want to use the Feature Info Widget because I don't want to take up the screen space for that (especially for medium and small screen devices).

I agree with you as I have been thinking about how we can solve this workflow. I am going to propose a widget that could used in this scenario.

Please remove "solved" tag since this is not solved nor is this a solution. Highly requested feature, solution would be appreciated.

Forgot I had explored this as a potential function and was pinged about this post again. Please remove your 'solution' - this is not a 'solution'. This is misleading.

FYI: For everyone who keeps asking for “solution” to be removed, in Esri community, once solution is marked there is no way to take it back from either the post creator or the solution giver. I’m not an Esri person, but This is the way.

I have a similar situation but have an issue with popups not closing when an item is selected from the list and zoomed-to in the map. This could be a solution.

I agree, it would be nice if there was a List message action for maps next to zoom to which is open popup.

Yes, we really, really need a message action to open the webmap's popup.
