I have created a webpage using ArcGIS experience builder, items in the left sidebar are connected to items on the map. Is there a button/weblink which can be added for each item in the sidebar, which would open up the sidebar for more details eg to display more info for the item selected in the sidebar (button/weblink would say 'more details/more info'), similar to the functionality as in google maps?
By sidebar, I assume that you have a List Widget inside a sidebar. There are a couple different ways to get to something like you want. The following steps allow you to make your list items look different depending on if they are unselected, selected or if the user is hovering.
In List widget, settings panel hit selected or hover.
Then Custom and accept warning
Redesign your list as desired. Switch between states with buttons on side of list.
Hi Jonathan,
I don’t think anything will make the sidebar widget open other than the configurable button in the widget itself.
Ideally, a trigger from the selected map object to target and open a sidebar widget when it contains a widget used for displaying attribute data such as the list or table widget would be awesome. An option within the sidebar config could control if deselecting the map object would then close the sidebar widget or not.
Hi,
Have you heard about any update to the Sidebar widget with regards to this? I'm really trying to have this exact functionality for a sidebar that contains a table widget in my web app.
Configurable button with URL is the option
Is there a specific version where this is released?
