Arcade field calculation not updating after making edits in the edit widget

Hello!

I have an arcade expression for a column that is the sum of other columns:

Sum($feature.Tree_Species_1_Count + $feature.Tree_Species_2_Count + $feature.Tree_Species_3_Count + $feature.Tree_Species_4_Count)

I have an edit widget in Experience builder so that field workers can update species counts. The updates are reflected in the column that they are made, but the column that is the sum does not recalculate. However, it does recalculate when making the updates from Field Maps or from the Map Viewer. 

For example, the tree total below should be 5. It is still reflecting the old total even after clicking update. Anything I can do?

According to your screenshots, the sum field is displayed in a feature info widget, right?

Also, any sample data or app would be helpful for us to make further investigation. Thanks!
