Style Eyedropper / Options for Retaining Text Style Settings

The Experience Builder authoring environment allows for the duplication of layout elements, with the intent of simplifying repetitive tasks.  However, I am encountering some persistent problems when using this feature to duplicate elements that include dynamic text.

The desired style (color, format, font size etc) is already present when the duplicate element is created.  But when attempting to modify the expression for the data that should be displayed, the insert process removes that formatting and inserts it as the default text format instead.  As a result, all those stylistic elements need to be reapplied manually.  Something like a style eyedropper could at least restore the text formatting with a simple click.

There might also be a way to handle this in the background so that replacing the dynamic text expression only changes the data to be displayed, but retains the existing styling of the text.  Similar to how modifying a label expression in ArcGIS Pro would change the data being displayed, without resetting the text formatting on the label itself.

EXAMPLE:  The 47 originally had the same text formatting as the 36.  But when I changed the view and field being used as the data source for the numeric value, the updated expression reverted to the default text format instead.

Thank you!

I agree this is one of the most frustrating aspects of using Experience Builder.
