I would like to propose that the Print widget be made "version-aware". That is, if the Branch Version Management widget is present in the Experience Bulder App and whenever a print request is submitted using the print widget, this will utilise the existing "gdbVersion" parameter in the ArcGIS REST API's ExportWebMap specification to derive a result.
It would bring the print widget on par with others that already respond to the active selected version such as the Web Map, Edit and Attribute table wide.
