Our tree planners need the ability to model and predict future canopy cover.
Currently they use Experience Builder to:
- Create a tree location point (symbolise it with a 3D tree model)
- Resize the tree to its predicted height
ENHANCEMENT REQUEST - Experience Builder functionality to:
- Create a 2D canopy polygon
- Overlay both existing and future 2D tree canopy datasets over our street polygon datasets to generate a canpy cover % for each street polygon segment. The canopy cover % for each segment is calculated by the summing the tree canopy area within each street segment and dividing by the segment area.
