Basemap Slider Option

We have a series of orthoimagery published as cached services - it would be wonderful to have a widget as a Basemap Slider like the attached example illustrates (using VertiGIS's Geocortex Essentials built-in functionality). The user can smoothly transition imagery over time to see how a neighborhood has changed.

This might already be possible with the Timeline Widget.

An interesting option Jeffrey! I'm not familiar with the Timeline Widget so worth exploring.
