I often have to build multi-page experience builders for a discipline or large program team and each page is framed the same, containing different project site data but very similar groupings such as "Site Observation", "Project Data", "Site Data", "Public/Open Source". I use views and sections to group the content however I have to come up with unique names for each section for each page and that gets messy and confusing. I either end up having to add in the specific site name which makes the length much longer or letters.
Page 1: Project Data, Raster Data, Public Data
Page 2: M Project Data, M Raster Data, M Public Data
Page 3: Joggins Data, Joggins Raster Data, Joggins Prov/Public Data
Idea: To have the option to include Alias with navigation views/sections so that they can be consistent across multiple pages.
I have this same issue. I found that adding spaces at the beginning or end is a good workaround... for now!
Yeah it's very annoying to have to add trailing or leading spaces to pretend at consistency.
Would love this to be fixed, I run into this constantly and it adds a lot of friction when trying to make multi page apps where each page has the same structured sections. Adding extra spaces only works so far, for a 5 page app I'm needing to resort to siloed Experience Builder apps which is a pain.
Surely if the section is on a different page, uniqueness doesn't need to be enforced as the page URL differs, at the very least? Otherwise, aliases would be a great solution to have ASAP.
