Our system will be going through the process of a domain name change because of which the machine on which our arcgis enterprise is installed is going to be moved to a different domain name.
I just want to understand what would be the implications of it.
Additionally, I came across a similar post: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-enterprise-questions/reconfiguring-arcgis-enterprise-after-mach... however, it has been mentioned to do a fresh install of the software. If we do a fresh install of the software what would happen to existing services, and applications.
Any insights on this would be helpful.

You need to backup your content before the change in name happens - Esri provide self contained backup tools that can help with this. WebGISDr can migrate the content in this instance but please be aware of whats in a WebGISDr backup. I.e. Tile caches are not included.

Once name change has happened, reinstall the same version of Enterprise.

Thank you @A_Wyn_Jones for sharing this with me. I will definitely check these links out.
@A_Wyn_Jones Currently, we are on ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9.1 and was wondering if we take a backup and then after domain name change we install ArcGIS Enterprise 11.1. Would the restore work or first will have to re-install 10.9.1 do the restore process and then upgrade to 11.1
You will have to install 10.9.1, restore and then upgrade.
Hope this helps!
