Token Referer parameter (mis) spelling in documentation

I am trying to use the referer parameter with token authentication but I am seeing multiple ways to spell it in ESRI's documentation vs. the actual token generator web page.

In the Admin API documentation is is spelled referrer, however when you use the Token generator web app the parameter is sent out as referer.

My question is, which way is the spelling the actual service will accept and use the parameter by?
