Doing some testing for deployments with Server 2012 and SQL Server 2012 and discovered that while the ArcGIS for Server installs just fine, the Web Adapter and Spatial Data Server for IIS won't install since they check for IIS 7.0 or 7.5. Even though IIS 8 is installed and working fine with all the prerequisites listed in the requirements, I can't get the installers to run because they don't think IIS is installed.

Not a rush item - just curious how long we might have to wait to run on 2012.

Hi,

it is our intent at Esri to provide full support for Windows Server 2012 with the upcoming release of ArcGIS 10.1 Service Pack 1.  The release of Service Pack 1 is scheduled for the week of October 29th.

This note is just to indicate our current plans, although the definitive answer will need to wait until we make an official announcement. Stay tuned, it will not take longer than a couple of weeks.

Thanks,

I have Server up and running on 2012 Server.  Web Adaptor too, although, I had to >Net 3.5 "feature" to get Web  Adaptor installed. No problem with IIS8
