suggestions needed: windows vs linux on EC2

We currently deployed ArcGIS Server (10.0) and Database on EC2 on windows servers. 10.1 provides customers with the option of Linux (ubuntu) servers, which lowers the cost a lot. However, I know nothing about Ubuntu and have no idea how much work will be involved in the maintenance of servers once deployed via Cloud Builder. Should I consider trying to switch to Linux or stay with windows servers?

Any suggestion is appreciated.

Hey Jinhu,

It depends on what you need to do. Cloud Builder simplifies creating ArcGIS Server site so it doesn't require as much knowledge for OS. We might have some suggestions if you can be more specific about what you are trying to do.
