Hi Everyone,
Has anyone encountered this issue? We recently migrated from ArcGIS Enterprise 10.7.1 to 10.9.1. After the migration, the datastore failed due to insufficient disk space, which primarily affected the tile cache datastore, while the relational datastore remained unaffected at first.
Upon investigation, we found the datastore was in read-only mode. After increasing the disk space and switching the datastore back to read-write mode, both the relational and tile cache datastores started showing a "validating" status.
While troubleshooting other errors, a new issue appeared—a license update error. At the same time, although all of our services appear to be working (aside from partial issues with sync-enabled, traditional versioned data), I noticed that the relational datastore is not showing as registered in ArcGIS Server Manager.
Has anyone seen a similar issue? Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Hey @becyr
Just to start off, this is something that more than likely will need ESRI Support for a proper fix. Datastore issues are extremely sensitive and slight misconfigurations can cause cascading issues.
If I were to troubleshoot this, these would be my steps:
Those would be my steps as of now, I wouldn't re-register the datastore without ESRI Support.

Thank you Cody,
I contacted the vendor that helped us deploy both environments for now. Will reach out to Esri help depending on how things go. We are not as comfortable with taking the lead on working with the server.
Hey @becyr
Completely understandable and exactly what I would have done, hopefully they get it figured out! Let us know what happens!
