I think that the only way to have a reasonable speed for the web mapping application (ADF, Silverlight, Flex) is to cache the map. Otherwise, it is really slow


1. For example, the mxd file is much faster than its service.
2. If the workflow includes SDE goedatabase then this is much slower the file geodatabase

But what if cashing a map is like a nightmare? Never succeed! It ends with ???the generation is not in progress???
