I noticed that with Creator User Type I cannot open the webmaps that have offline enabled. Can someone help me understand?

Sincerely

Check your permissions and sharing levels for the webmaps you're referencing. There's nothing about a "creator" user type that should prevent someone from accessing a webmap that is offline enabled.

Hi @Y_Chau

The Creator user type can access offline-enabled web maps but only if the map and its layers are properly configured for offline use. The issue is likely with the map’s settings, not the user type.

  • Check each layer in the web map, Ensure sync is enabled for feature layers, Confirm tile layers allow export

  • Review sharing settings

Hi @Priya_Das

I am baffled by this behavior and completely clueless why this happens. One user in our organisation is not able to view one vector basemap.

  • They can view all raster basemaps published by me and shared with groups of which this user is a member.
  • They can also view another vector basemap published by another user and shared with Everyone.
  • If I publish a webmap with this particular basemap, this user again cannot open them in web or in Field Maps. I even tried sharing this basemap with Everyone!

What sharing settings could have triggered such access restrictions?
