Hello everyone,

I am working with a Mosaic Dataset that I published on ArcGIS Enterprise as an Imagery Layer.

Here are the settings I used during publication:

Capture d'écran 2026-03-12 131616.png

Once published, I noticed several unusual things:

- The Imagery Layer appears very pixelated when zoomed out (see imagery_layer_pixel.png); the pixels only disappear when zooming in very closely

- It is not possible to modify the stretch or gamma values from Map Viewer

How can I improve the visual quality of the Imagery Layer and avoid these visible pixels?

You can access the image in question at the following URL: https://websig.ens-lyon.fr/server/rest/services/Image_services/Donzere_Arles_1846/ImageServer?f=jsap...

Thank you in advance for your help!

Alix CL

I'm on ArcGIS Pro 3.6.0 & ArcGIS Enterprise 11.5.0 (build 56755)

I still don’t know why the WMTS causes this poor quality.

That said, I found a workaround: using WMS instead. In any case, it meets my initial need!
