I know we can test whether the title is true or not by running the gp service in catalog after connecting to the arcgis server.
my question is is there any other way to do it? as someone has come across a problem that you can not extend the gp service in catalog n theres no cross mark in front of the gp service name. you can see the pic attached.
the reason y im look for this is because im encountering a rest related problem, when i want to submit jobs to get the result(as i published the service as asynchronous) on the rest endpoint, it says Error performing execute operation n theres hardly useful logs created. so I want to make sure that not only the GP service has been published successfully, but also works well.
