User has deleted a feture class from enterprise geodatabase and he is trying to create a feature class with same name he is getting error message "Layer already exists". Though the feature class is not visible in ArcCatalog. Any help on this issue?
Test creating a simple table with the same name from the database end and then delete the table/feature class that shows up in the database connection using ArcCatalog. You can subsequently test creating another feature class with the same name to determine if it is successful.
