Hi,
i  install an Argis Server on Linux and join this site with an ArcGIS Server pre-install by ' join a site' on a Windows Server. But an error said: 'Server machine 'http://xxxxxx(windows):6080/arcgis/admin' returned an error. 'Impossible d???accéder au magasin de configuration sur '/xxxxxxx(Linux)/data/www/html/config-store'.''.
Normal... I think that this error is due to the two differents OS and specially due to the UNC Path that ArcGIS Server can't read and convert.

In ArcGIS Desktop this functionnality is ok because we can publish a shape on an Arcgis Server install on Linux and also Windows.

My question is : Is it possible to find a workaround to build my architecture and is it possible to find this functionnality in a future build of Arcgis Server (10.2 perhaps ?) ?

Ex:
Cache /xxxxxxxx(Linux)/arcgisserver/directories/arcgiscache
Tâches /xxxxxxxx(Linux)/arcgisserver/directories/arcgisjobs
Sortie         /xxxxxxxx(Linux)/arcgisserver/directories/arcgisoutput
Système /xxxxxxxx(Linux)/arcgisserver/directories/arcgissystem

Thank
Best regards

Joining  a site in Linux is not that easy, make sure the folder containing the config-store is shared.

And make sure the UIDs match and are for the arcgis account
