It does work. I've installed it and run  it on 2012. Let me check their system requirements to see if certified

Yes it is on the supported OS list for 10.2 and 10.1  Didn't check 10.0

ArcGIS Server 10.0 is NOT supported / certified on Windows Server 2012.
