I want to publish a wms service from an mxd-file. The mxd contains 63 layers and I want only one of then to be visible when someone calls the service. The layer I want to be visible is number 19 from the top. So, I save my mxd with only that one layer selected as visible and then I publish the service.
However, when I call the service the ten uppermost layers are visible, but NOT the layer I want to be visible.
I have saved the mxd a number of times and I have published the service almost as many times but every time I get the same result.
I use ArcGIS 10.1 on both desktop and server.
Can anyone point me in the right direction as how to solve this?
