Hi,

I have custom Android application, with offline editing capability in 10.3. When user with dot "." in its user name tries to take map for offline use, I get the following error in ArcGIS Server logs:

Creation of version: user.name for sync failed.    System/SyncTools.GPServer

Error: Invalid version name [user.name_Andr_1427468649060]. Version not found [user.name_Andr_1427468649060]  System/SyncTools.GPServer

Error executing tool.: ErrorMsg@SyncGPService:{"code":500,"description":"Error in obtaining version for Sync."} Failed to execute (Create Feature Service Replica).    System/SyncTools.GPServer

Any suggestion?

This has been fixed at ArcGIS sever version 10.4

I am on Server 10.3.1 and am experiencing the same issue when trying to download a map in collector for offline use. All parameters and features are correct, but my ArcGIS Online Username has a "." in it, and the credentials I use to access the layer (Server Authentication - Token - with our Windows Credentials) has a "-" in it. Would this be the same issue?

From my Support Services research, it seems to be an extension of BUG-000090931 and was fixed at 10.4.0
