Capacity Planning Difference in Map & Feature Service

Hi guys,

I was trying to calculate the capacity needed for about 1200 concurrent hits to a service. In the simple capacity planning tools, when I entered the "map service" in the model details, it said I will need 70 cores to handle those requests.

However, when I changed the model to feature service, it said I will need only 5 cores

Is the difference between viewing data using map and feature service is really that contrast?
