Why Doesn't ArcGIS Portal SceneView Support Reading CimSymbols from Web Styles?

Hi Everyone!

In recent tests, I noticed that ArcGIS Portal SceneView cannot read CimSymbols from web styles, which can be demonstrated by the following examples:

1. When publishing a custom web style from ArcGIS Pro using shape marker (CIMPointSymbol), ArcGIS Portal MapView successfully reads the CIMPointSymbol from the style, but ArcGIS Portal SceneView fails to do so.

2. After installing the Portal_for_ArcGIS_Web_Styles_Windows_113.exe file, both ArcGIS Portal MapView and SceneView can access a web style named "Icons." This style contains multiple point symbols, each with two resources: cimRef (CIMPointSymbol) and webRef (PointSymbol3D-IconSymbol3DLayer-SVG image). In this case, ArcGIS Portal MapView reads the cimRef, whereas ArcGIS Portal SceneView reads the webRef.

This raises a question: while the ArcGIS JavaScript API supports using CIMPointSymbol in SceneView, why can't ArcGIS Portal SceneView read CIMPointSymbol from web styles?

Thank you!!
