Who has successfully gotten a Portal Content Directory working on Azure Premium Storage? For clarity, we're using Azure Premium Files, NOT Blob Storage.

Format is \\name.file.core.windows.net\performancetest\CONTENT

We're also using a gMSA as the Portal Service Account. 11.2.

We have a support case going into its second month with no solution in sight.

Coincidentally, all of our GIS Server Config Store and Directories work perfectly fine on \\name.file.core.windows.net\performancetest\CONTENT, same gMSA running them as well. Which eliminates "You configured it wrong (Azure)".

We've brought in our on-prem Azure Heavy Hitters, and we've logged and tested the storage account like no other storage account has ever been tested, and can find nothing.

But when we configure Portal to use \\name.file.core.windows.net\performancetest\CONTENT as the content directory, it renders portal unusable for which a full VM restore is the only means of recovery.

While helpful and gave us some things to test, do not solve the problem. And yes, the gMSA has full control to the directory and can read/write as confirmed by dozens of hours of testing.
