It better to have a similar geocoding service share from the feature layer create from the datastore in gis portal.
We like to put the address point into the data store instead of the file geodatabase. But the geocoding service only can create from the locator (generate from arcgis desktop).
It would be great if there is a way to create a geocoding service from feature layer(or service)
