Our organization would benefit greatly from the ability to directly embed a Web Experience or Site item from our ArcGIS Enterprise Portal into the Home Page using the Home Page builder. This could be achieved by introducing a new content block option that functions similarly to the "Embed" widget available in Experience Builder or Site Builder.
This functionality would significantly expand the role of the Home Page—from simply a launchpad for GIS applications to a dynamic, integrated hub where project managers and other stakeholders can consume GIS data directly. Embedding custom Web Experiences would allow us to present project statistics, dashboards, maps, and curated content in a consolidated, user-friendly format.
Currently, we find that most users bookmark individual apps and rarely interact with the Enterprise Portal as a whole, or its Home Page. As a result, they miss out on a wide range of GIS resources, dashboards, and capabilities we provide through Sites and Experiences. Allowing embedded Experiences would help solve this by making the Home Page itself a destination—highlighting the power and reach of our GIS platform across the organization.
Experience Builder uniquely enables us to combine internal and external data sources, multimedia, and interactive tools into one seamless interface. If this could be surfaced on the Home Page, our GIS team could better engage users who wouldn’t typically seek out GIS tools, ultimately increasing organizational awareness, adoption, and integration of geospatial capabilities.
