I am a Geospatial Business Advisor in the Petroleum Industry working with Enterprise Portal in the Azure Cloud. We work with several external companies to provide them access to our portal content. We link our Enterprise portal groups to AD Groups to control group membership and to avoid adding users manually in portal. Users can join the portal group by being a member of a SAML Group.
What we find though is that the owner of the portal group cannot be changed. This becomes an issue when content needs to be shared by key users who are not the owner and not members of some of these AD Groups like in the case of B2B portal groups consisting of external users. What do we do when the owner is no longer available?

Leveraging AD groups for portal group access management would significantly reduce administrative effort and streamline user access management. However, the inability to change portal group ownership undermines the overall value of this approach. We would appreciate consideration of this enhancement in a future release to fully support this workflow.
