Be able to drag to change route when using the Directions tool in Map Viewer (Map Viewer Classic is able to do this)

My team uses the Directions tool on Map Viewer Classic to create bus routes for our organization. This is because of the capability on it that users can drag to change any part of the route and alter it easily.

This makes it quick and easy to make any changes to the route with little hassle.

However, this drag and drop capability is not available on the Directions tool of the current Map Viewer.

To get the route to travel on a specific road, you must enter a location of that road in the directions pane, sometimes even multiple locations.

Can the "Drag to change route" capability please be built-in to the Directions tool in the current Map Viewer.

This affects both ArcGIS Enterprise and AGOL. Please watch the clips for reference of issue.
