At my organization, we are using Cloud-Optimized Geotiffs for raster data. Our internal users want a single catalog (Portal) to access datasets that they need. It would be great if COGs could be added as Portal items so that internal users have easy access to them. This could either be via links to individual COGs (simple), or more broadly by incorporating a Spatio-Temporal Asset Catalog (STAC) that could then link to many different COGs.
