Can you import a workspace exported from ArcGIS Earth 1.7 into version 1.6.1?

I can import the workspace created in 1.7 into 1.6.1 but no layers show up in the TOC.

Hi Katherine,

The V1.7 workspace can't be consumed by ArcGIS Earth V1.6.1 as there is a big change about the operational_Layers in V1.7.

Do you mind to tell us why you want to import V1.7 workspace in a lower version V1.6.1?

Thanks Xuewen, that's good to know. We are a large organisation where new software has to be packaged up and rolled out which can take a long time. Those who have privileged user access like GIS power users/development teams/IT can install newer versions of software so we just have to be aware of this limitation. Thanks for the quick response.
