Hello,
I'm new to ArcGIS Earth, but not GIS. I was intrigued to learn there was an AR mode in ArcGIS Earth and was hoping it would overlay my 3D GIS data based on coordinates and where my phone's coordinate system is located at. When trying to bring in ArcGIS Online 3D line, point, etc. data it will not show up.
When I try adding one of the featured ArcGIS Gallery items like the Eiffel Tower, sphinx from Egypt, etc. it just adds a tiny example of it wherever I click on a surface in AR mode and then when I try to enlarge it, the feature disappears.
Has anyone else had luck with the AR mode in ArcGIS Earth with their own 3D data? Do you have to add it to a surface, then resize it, or does it add itself based on it's coordinates?
I'm using an iPhone 14 Pro Max with the latest downloadable 2.3.0 app version with the 2493 build. Thank you for any help or comments.

Hi @ClaytonBurns2,
Currently ArcGIS Earth Mobile only supports what is called Tabletop AR. It sounds like World Scale AR is what you are looking for. We have World Scale AR on our long term roadmap.
You can still do some interesting things with ArcGIS Earth's Tabletop AR mode, but you will have to manually scale and place the data in the view. Of note, only one layer item is supported at a time. For example, if you long press on a layer in the ToC and select AR Mode, only that layer will be visible. Adding a tile layer like World Imagery to the ToC will allow you to see the entire globe in Tabletop AR mode.
If this doesn't meet your needs you might want to consider creating a custom app for world scale AR using one of our SDKs. See link here https://developers.arcgis.com/swift/scenes-3d/display-scenes-in-augmented-reality/

Thank you John. That makes sense to what I was seeing happening. The World Scale AR will be an awesome update to ArcGIS Earth if that is added in the future. Thank you for the SDK link. I'd just found that last Friday and think it will work for my use case for now.
