Serial chart say "No data" when at Split by field (textbased category) is choosen

I have used a dashboard for years with no problem. Since last weeks my Serial charts using split by field shows No data. The field used by splitfunction is a textbased field with using domain. Any suggestions why?

Sorry to hear that you are running into changes in your dashboard since the update last week. We would suggest reaching out to Esri Technical Support as they will better able to assist with the troubleshooting and confirm if this is related to the update.

I am also experiencing this in a ArcGIS Online dashboard that I am creating using an enterprise portal service. The primary field (Structural Condition Rating) is an integer that I am treating like categories (1,2,3,4,5) , and my split field (Asset Class) is a text field. The chart is fine when I just have the the structural condition rating, it shows the counts for each condition rating value (see below), but when I try to split it by Asset Class, I get "No data". Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug?
