Hello, I am having an issue when I connect the map action to the list. When the map action is toggled on to the list, when the extent changes the list changes based on the extent of the map, as it should. However, when I select the home widget it returns the map to the default extent (as it should) and the list is returned in various orders, never the same order. It should return to alphabetical order. There is nothing selected in the map or list or tabs so it should return to alphabetical order. I have a video but can not post it due to the 9MB size limit that would show you what exactly I'm talking about. below is a screenshot of the list settings. I am using a view layer due to the error message I received when using the hosted feature layer, which is editable. When using an editable hosted feature layer in a public-facing dashboard the "public collection" option in the layers settings would need to be toggled on which would allow the public to edit the data which I do not want to do and a view layer was the suggested fix from ESRI. Any help is greatly appreciated. When I was using the hosted editable feature layer the map action did not have this issue.

Can you link to the dashboard or the public service URL? It would be nice to test it out.

This currently doesn't connect the map to the list because of the reordering of the list.

I see what you mean, I get the same thing happening. I believe it has to do with this message:

To ensure performance and scalability, map extent filters in public dashboards may produce approximate results in some scenarios. Map extent filters will produce exact results in private dashboards or dashboards shared to your organization.Learn more about map extent filters.

Unfortunately, I don't see a good way around this.

Thanks for taking a look, I saw that about the extents also but was hoping there was a way to fix it. I'm thinking/hoping that Experience Builder might be another option. It's just embarrassing when you present the dashboard to leadership across the campus and then when you make it publicly available for those who do not have an account and/or have no interest in having an ESRI account that you lose some functionality.  Again thank for taking a look.
