Is it possible to create a choropleth map in ArcGIS Dashboard based on selected fields? I am not seeing this as a built in setting but wondering if this is something I can do with Arcade?

@JenniferAcunto @AndreasHall @CarmelConnolly any insight would be helpful 🙂 similar to this post here: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-dashboards-questions/summarize-incident-count-on-map/m-p/123441...

I think you would need to add a different layer for each choropleth map to your web map and then turn them on/off with the layer visibility function to achieve something similar to this. There might be something you could try with Arcade in the web map but that is not my area of expertise.

If you have access to ArcGIS Insights I recommend you to try that path instead, there it should be possible to achieve. It would probably require some data engineering as well, the choropleth map will be made by summarizing different sets of objects, not based on selected fields.

You might also try the Portfolio Instant App instead of Dashboards. Then you would need to create one map and app for each "selected field", perhaps using the Chart Viewer Instant App.
