Show Pop Up Action for Map Image Layer

Wouldn't it be great if could add the List Action > When selection changes > Show Pop Up for a Map Image Layer data type? This functionality is only available for the Feature Layer data type. Currently, you have to manually select a feature in the map for the Pop Up to open. 

This would be nice for when Feature Access is not enabled  on data for various reasons. We are using Map Image Layers within Web Maps, Dashboards, and Experience Builders and would like the ability for Pop Ups to be an Action. This functionality is more straightforward to the users rather than users having to manually select a feature to see the Pop Up. Since Pop Up are a function for Map Image Layers in Web Maps, it should be an Action in Dashboards as well.

I agree, this would be great. In the meantime, I use a details element instead of a popup, and that refreshes through a filter action when a user clicks on a list item. The only problem with that for me is that I often have more than one layer in my dashboard map, and unfortunately, I have to have a separate details element for each layer. I usually stack those and then users have to know to click on the tab for the appropriate details element in order to see their information after clicking on a list item.

I actually like the details elements better than popups because they don't take up space on my map, but I really wish I could make the most recently updated details element active/open automatically as an action when a user clicks on a list item or map feature.
