In Dashboards' serial chart widget, the data points toggle in the series options tab under a line or smoothed line type series currently only toggles points on and off on the line in the chart. Unless no legend is shown, this behavior renders the data points toggle as an essentially useless feature, as the line symbol on the chart should always match the line symbol in the legend.
Although it is possible to make the points transparent using the point opacity and point border opacity sliders regardless of whether the data points toggle is on or off, it would be more convenient if the toggle could be used instead.
