Looking to create a dashboard with multiple pages (aka tabs along the bottom), which is currently possible. But also looking to overlap multiple widgets within each tabbed page. Example, overlapping Details elements for different topics, etc. Currently NOT possible to create overlapping widgets (aka tabs) within a tab (ex. page tabs at the bottom). This significantly limits the layout possibilities of more complicated, extensive dashboards, so much so that it is preventing me from building in ArcGIS Dashboards. The plan was to use ArcGIS Insights because of it's endless layout possibilities but with that being discontinued, I am stuck trying to bend Experience Builder to my needs, and it's taking 3x the amount of time to do so due to the poor and extremely frustrating user interface, if even possible. PLEASE add the ability to create tabs within tabs. Would be a game changer.
I'm not precisely sure how to envision what you are meaning by tabs within tabs but it is possible to create groups of widgets so that you can have several on a single tab and then you can stack those groups to make individual tabs. The Demo Crime Dashboard is one example of this and a discussion about it is what led me to the discovery of widget grouping. Here's a ytube video that shows yo how to do this: grouping and stacking widgets
@clt_cabq Yes, the crime dashboard is a fantastic example of tabs but it still does not have tabs within tabs. So using it as the example, within it's "Map" tab, say you wanted to stack a second map over top of the first map so that you had two maps, both taking up the same amount of space, one behind the other. Normally, this would be possible and would create the tabs you see at the bottom. But because this map element is already in a stacked grouping (hence the "Map", "Time Periods", etc. tabs), it will not allow you to stack something on top of it and create "tabs within tabs".
