Allow dashboard viewer to reverse list sorting

Howdy!
I often spin off internal dashboards for team members and configure the widgets in a way that makes the most sense to me, but I wonder if someone would like the option to do the opposite of what I've set.
For example, if I add a list widget to help folks fly to features on the map and sort it by a date field from newest to oldest, it would be nice to give the user the option to reverse that to see the features oldest to newest. Please correct me, but currently, the only solution I see is to create a second list sorted the opposite way and stacking them to save real estate. I'm not concerned with allowing them to change the number of Maximum features displayed.
