In ArcGIS dashboards, when using advanced formatting and tailoring your datasets for different charts and elements, I have found that making one change in the advanced formatting window will entirely reset your serial chart, for example, and all the configurations have to be redone. Sometimes it can be as simple as an indicator and resetting the fields it calls, but other times charts have a lot of configuration that takes time to redo.
My idea is to NOT reset the charts or elements that rely on advanced formatting. Sometimes it is a minor change that is adjusted in the advanced formatting and is time consuming to reset each chart.
