Ability to add Guides to the Category axis of serial chart

If I'm charting values of say COVID19 cases (value axis) against dates/time (category axis) it would be informative to add in a guide on the category axis on a particular date to show when schools closed, or lockdown commenced etc to show the behaviour of the data after that date.

Yes...I would like to show guides in the category axis to provide a visual of when Phase 1, Phase 2, Phase 3, etc periods are. This would be interesting to see along daily case data and provide a means to highlight possible correlations on opening too early (or not).
