I'm currently working on a project comparing neighborhood development over time. One of the variables I'm looking at is median household income for 1990, 2000, and 2010. Are these numbers current or constant dollars? In other words, can the incomes from 1990 be directly compared to 2010 or do they need to be adjusted for inflation? Unfortunately, the link to the ESRI data set description for demographic is broken http://www.esri.com/data/esri_data/demographic-overview/demographic

Thank you!

Here is a direct link to the Esri Demographic Updates: 2012/2017 methodology document.  Page 10 is the beginning of the income section.  Take a look at it and if you have any follow questions up let me know.
