Hello,

I'm hoping to save excel spreadsheets as attachments in collector using an iPad.  When I go to attach and select "Choose From Library" the folders visible are only photo related.  Is there a location I can save the excel so that the Collector App can see it?

The iPad is running iOS 9.3.5 and Collector 10.4.0.

Thanks in advance!

Emily

Hi Emily,

I believe you are only able to attach photos and videos using Collector:

Work with attachments—Collector for ArcGIS | ArcGIS

Photos and videos can be added to features to provide additional information.

Looks like their is an idea that has been created and is under review:

jskinner-esristaff‌ is correct, on iOS we only support attaching photos and videos.  We do support additional file types like Excel documents and PDFs in Collector on Windows.  I'd encourage you to add your desired file types you'd like to attach to the idea Jake mentions above.
