we recently had a Collector Sync issue; so the solution was to grab the runtime.geodatabase using iTunes.

iOS device was connected, iTunes was launched, Sync button pressed.

Now iTunes, Apps/Collector shows the downloaded folder, but it's empty.

Ugh, any hope here to get the data?

We pulled the 10.3.4 version of the app from the store as we wait for the patched update to get approved to reduce the risk of anymore data lost.

Russell,

Thanks for the update, but in the meantime does Apple has an ETA of when the updated version will be available? We have a set of field crews that are stuck without the Collector app and the ability to complete work due to uninstalling the app. We thought that we could uninstall the previous version and manually re-install the app, but it's gone from the Apple App store.

Thanks!

If you have sync'd a device with itunes, can you try plugging it into your computer, syncing the device with itunes, clicking on the Apps section you should see a list of apps you have downloaded and your device screens. Can you find Collector in that list and click install and see if that will add the last sync'd version of Collector to your device.

Russell,

This would be perfect if we had sync'd the iPad with a laptop. We will have to incorporate this method into our future workflows.

Thanks for the information.

Collector app has been approval from Apple. The update issues that we introduced with version 10.3.4 is resolved.
