Hi michael,

Can you make the file available so that we can verify?

What CE version do you have?

Hi Christian,

Thank you for responding. I’ve attached one of the shapefiles I tried importing. Am using CityEngine 2019 Build ID 5403.

Michael, shapefile has multiple components (files) and you must have all to be a valid shapefile. See specification for details here or just make sure you include all files named Landgate_Road_Segment.* These will be Landgate_Road_Segment.dbf, Landgate_Road_Segment.prj, Landgate_Road_Segment.shx and any other extensions.

Then we can test your shapefile in CE.

Zorko

Michael,

Very brief response (end of my working day). The shapefile now looks good but it may not be the best suited for CityEngine. Here is how it looks in ArcGIS Pro.

Best option would be road centreline rather than road casing.
