Generate Streets/Roads

Hi all,

I just received a file with the block/lot shapes data. Now I will need to generate/create streets from there.

Is it possible to do it? If yes, how? (I am using CityEngine 2012)

2 ways :



1] use the arcgis functionality that creates 'centerlines' based on polygon features (never did this myself. tech support may help)
2] do it manually (slow but precise .. )

Thanks for the comment.

However, manually is not a good idea. It is a huge city.

I do not have ArcGIS for the centerlines function 😞

Any alternative choice?
