I think it'd be really nice if we were able to modify building footprints after they've been created, for example if I've got my footprints and then I discover that my parcel shape is slightly wrong, is it possible or will it be possible for me to modify this shape without deleting it and restarting?

The biggest convern for this is with shapefiles I've imported from ArcGIS and then wish to change slightly but retain the attributes within them!

Thanks

Hi !

You must delete the layer and re-import.

BUT:

You can give each shape an attribute in ArcGIS which sets the rule file and start rule.

[use those precise names]
'ruleFile' (string) > which CGA rule should be assigned directly on import
'startRule' (string) > which Start Rule should be set for each shape.

This should help you streamline the process.

Ok ?

Matt

That is good to know, I might have a play around with that in the future, thanks!
