XML designer went blank after installing arcgis api for silverlight api 2.2 beta

Hi,
I am having this strange problem with XML designer of my silverlight projects. it goes blank after I installed arcgis api for silverlight api 2.2 (please see the attachment), the projects seems to work fine otherwise. I am using VS 2010. Does any of you faced this kind of problem?
